Dried Mango 100g

We really took care in choosing the dried mangoes. The juicy and sweet mango slices from West Africa are a real gourmet experience. They will win you over with their pure composition, soft consistency and giant size of the slices (6-9 cm). No tough pieces to pick your teeth on or added sugar. 

Our mangoes come from the Adeiso region of Ghana. The clean environment here, far from the big cities, the tropical climate and the quality soil guarantee the best quality produce. Two varieties of mango are grown here - Keitt and Kent. These are characterised by their beautiful, deep orange flesh and naturally high sugar content. Mangoes are also a source of quality nutrients. It contains vitamins C, E and B vitamins. It is rich in the minerals manganese and potassium, and contains large amounts of fibre.

In Africa, the fruit is harvested in two seasons - from January to February and the second harvest season is from April to August. Ripe mangoes are sliced thinly and gently dried for 5-6 hours. Treat yourself to a piece of the exotic whenever you feel like it.

Dried mangoes have a wide range of uses:

• alone or in combination with other dried fruits, they serve as a quick and nutritious snack
• cut into pieces, it enriches the taste and nutrition of breakfast porridge, muesli or dessert
